Please note that specialty instructor training courses with an asterisk beside them require either the prerequisite user level course or certain equipment availability. The user level course and instructor level course may be taken together at an additional cost.
As a PADI Specialty Instructor you can earn specialty diver certifications in addition to the fundamental PADI courses moving you toward your 25 certifications quicker and have more fun earning your new MSDT rating.
Our MSDT program of 5 Instructor Specialties includes; 5 nights accommodation, staff lunches and of course the specialty dives on Roatan's spectacular reef rated amongst the best in the Caribbean and Honduras and costs costs $800 (you only pay for 4 as PADI O2 Provider Instructor is included at no cost). If you are adding this to the IDC your price is $720. PADI fees are $56 per Specialty Instructor rating and must be paid directly to PADI (5 @ $56 = $280). You will also need to have your own personal copy of any corresponding student diver manuals for each instructor specialty taken, which. These may be purchased from our dive center and cost between $36 - $52 each (depending on specialties chosen). The Instructor Specialties listed above marked with an asterix* include a prerequisite to hold the diver level certification, which may be included in your training for an additional cost.
For those enrolled in our IDC you will receive the most current digital version of the Specialty Instructor Manual as part of your crew pack. For others, you will need to obtain this manual (at a cost of $220). Additional instructor specialties can be added to the program for $200 each, $ 180 if adding to the IDC (plus the $56 for PADI).
