Your
Journey into dive leadership starts here.
The PADI Divemaster
rating is where your adventure as a dive professional begins. For
those who decide that scuba diving can be more than a recreational
endeavor and are interested in becoming a PADI Instructor, acquiring
the PADI Divemaster rating is an essential step in the process. If
there is a common characteristic of what a Divemaster is,
responsibility is the most accurate term. No single word so
adequately defines what a Divemaster is and how a Divemaster is
responsible for people, responsible for planning, responsible for
orientation, and at some time, responsible for nearly every aspect
of safe diving. A world of adventure awaits all those who wish to
achieve the rating of Divemaster in Roatan, Honduras.
In
order to become a Divemaster, an internship is your best option and
gives you the most hands-on experience. During your training you
will be working at the dive shop and get the chance to dive everyday
on Roatan's spectacular reef while learning the theory, handling
equipment and use your newly gained experience in real life with our
customers.
Since we own two dive centers on the island, at Subway Watersports
we have the possibility to offer our DM interns a larger variety of
experiences, with our Divemaster Internships starting one every two
weeks.
